Terms & community rules
Last updated October 5, 2026
These terms apply to the Resume Feed website and Android app. By creating an account or using Resume Feed, you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Resume Feed.
- Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself.
- One person per account; don’t create accounts to get around a block or a ban.
- You can delete your account at any time — see how to delete your account.
Your content
You own the resumes, comments and other content you post. By posting, you let us store it and show it to other signed-in members so the service works. When you make a resume public, you also let us show it to anyone, signed in or not, in the feed that visitors can browse and through its link, and the same goes for comments you write on a public resume. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, or when a resume goes back to members-only, apart from backup copies kept for a limited time.
Only post your own resume, or one you have the owner’s permission to share. Remove details you don’t want strangers to see, such as your street address or phone number, before uploading.
Community rules
Resume Feed is for honest, useful feedback on resumes. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members. Do not post, comment, or behave in a way that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates anyone;
- attacks people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or similar characteristics;
- contains nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence;
- shares someone else’s private information, such as their phone number, address, or documents, without their permission;
- impersonates another person or organization, or misleads about who you are;
- is spam, a scam, advertising, a job posting, or links to malware;
- promotes illegal activity or infringes someone’s copyright or other rights;
- isn’t a resume, when posted as one.
Critique the resume, not the person. Be specific and kind.
Reporting and blocking
In the Android app, every resume, comment, and profile has a menu where you can report it or block the member who posted it. Blocking takes effect right away, on the website too: neither of you will see the other’s resumes or comments, and neither can react to, rate, or reply to the other. You can unblock members from the app’s Account tab. To report something you saw on the website, contact the developer contact address on our Google Play listing.
How we enforce these rules
We review reports and may remove content that breaks these rules, and warn, suspend, or permanently remove members who post it, without notice when the case is serious. We also remove anything we are legally required to. If you think we made a mistake, contact the developer contact address on our Google Play listing.
Feedback is opinion
Feedback on Resume Feed comes from other members and reflects their opinions. It is not professional career, legal, or hiring advice, and we don’t guarantee any outcome from using it.
The service
We provide Resume Feed as it is and may change, pause, or stop parts of it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content posted by members. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Questions? Contact the developer contact address on our Google Play listing.
